Itinerary
Tuesday, December 22, 2020
Once we arrive from Ushuaia, we’ll be welcomed and transfer to Hotel Melia on the Argentinean side. Hotel Melia is the only hotel inside the National Park allowing for stunning views of the falls.
Wednesday, December 23rd, 2020
After breakfast starts our guided tour of the Brazilian Park. First, we must cross the border and arrive at the Visitors Center, where the first exhibition is – and one of the best views of the park.
After registration, we continue inside the park, along a paved road that will take us to the magnificent Iguazu Falls.
An approximately 1200 meter walking tour – an easy hike – along the turbulent Iguazu river will give you the opportunity to stop and take photographs. Bring a raincoat for the end of the walk, where we will be under the running water of the falls in the middle of the Devils’ Throat!
Later, we can enjoy a pleasant boat ride Safari Macuco to really feel the power of the water over your head! Swimming suit and towels are recommended.

Our final day starts after breakfast with a guided tour of the Argentinean part of the park!
Due to our accommodations being directly on the Argentinean side of the Falls, we can take advantage and start our exploring before most visitors arrive.
After taking a small gas-propelled train to get to the Devils Throat Station, we will enjoy an easy walk over the Iguazu River and different small islands, which will lead us 1100 m ahead to the panoramic view terrace that overlooks the falls from the Argentinean side.
The Argentinean side also offers two more paths to explore the area: the upper path, takes 50 min walking and the lower circuit which takes about 1 ½ hours.
Afterward, we will walk back to the hotel for the transfer to the Airport Puerto Iguazu, and the journey homeward – or onward to Buenos Aires for 1 or 2 nights stay!
